| I feel your pain. Post more of your menus so that we can all take a look. However, I do have to say that the protein shake probably is not legal. You want to aim to eat as much whole non-processed food as possible. It sounds like you have a plan, just watch what you eat more closely and make sure you eat at least something from the Induction foods list every 6 hours. If you really are not hungry take a few bites every couple hours so that you keep your metabolism up. I can also say that in 2003 I was able to lose 50 pounds on Atkins in less than 5 months. This go around the weightloss is MUCH slower. Maybe it has to do with age or hormones.

| Hi Carrie, Thanks for your post. I HATE it that age may be slowing us down...ugh! Anyhow, I've been reading around the site, and based on other people, who have the same problem, and then the advice they got, I think I know what my problem may be. As you also said, the protein powder/shakes should probably be a no no, so I will cut those out. Also, if I honestly think about it, there were probably a majority of days, where I didn't eat my 3 cups of vegis. I just was not hungry for it. I also went sometimes longer than 6 hrs for something to eat. Ok. Well, I have a good start right? Just need to tweak it here and there. I think I will aim to get that walk in each day as well. |
