Default I think I made a big mistake today with the bars

I was at Walmart and saw the Atkins brand Advantage bars that said safe for all phases and only 2 net carbs per bar. I ate it and it was fabulous..until I got home and logged on here and read all kinds of bad things about them!!! So now I just waisted $ on them when apparently I'm not supposed to have them????? So it really pisses me off that Atkins would even sell them to people who are really trying to do this cheat free and get screwed over without even knowing it! Sorry I'm just really frustrated, its Day 3 of induction for me and I've been doing so good and then ate that and now feel really down. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day

Don't beat yourself up Rachel. Life is full of experiences & this is one of them. Some people reserve the bars for extreme emergencies. I think Dr. Atkins even says that in his book. One bar isn't going to do any harm.

Good luck!

Yeah, just move on. Maybe stash them in the back of the freezer for a while. I mean this way later down the road you might need something like that. Just a thought...
But I am with Oz...just shake it off and move on.

As the others have said, you could put them away till you are at the level/rung of the second phase of Atkins when all the ingredients would be allowed.
As far as I know they all contain wheat product (rung 9 of OWL) or at the very least some soy product in them (rung 6 of OWL) so could be used as part of your 'emergency kit' when you get to that phase.
