| Unfortunately, there is no 'normal' amount of loss for the 2 weeks on induction as it will depend on many factors including how much weight you need to lose, your level of activity, how well you stick to the rules etc etc. You can take a look at the chart in DANDR which illustrates different loss patterns, identifying how someone with low/medium/high resistance to weightloss might fare to get some idea of what might happen for your own body, but in reality, what losses you get will be the 'normal' loss for you.

| Yes, she's right, there's no 'normal' amount. I personally lost about 8 pounds in 2 weeks starting at 185. |

| I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. Everyone is different so you may lose more or less depending on your body. One thing for sure is that it WORKS!! |

| You should really include your starting weight and height in your note. It obviously depends on a great number of factors that you aren't sharing.

| I lost 7 lbs the first week, 2 lbs the second week, 0 lbs the third week, then 6 lbs per month since then... Everyone is different... exercise is different, start weight and total weight to lose is different... but if you try your hardest and stick with it, your body will try it's hardest too... |

| I lost just over 6 in my first two weeks, which ended today. I was hoping for more, but honestly feel like I can really stick with it and get to the end. I'm not hungry most of the time, am able to make good food choices and have not cheated once!! |

| You do realize that you've lost almost 20% of the weight you needed to lose, right? And this all happened in two weeks. Congrats!

| And according to Dr. Atkins, an "excellent" rate of loss on Induction is 10%. So you're more than "excellent"!
