Sorry ... must have been posting at the same time!

Here's a trick with Fitday ... you want to enter as much of your food "raw" as possible. So your omelet should be eggs, whole, raw, large ... 2. Fitday often adds ingredients to cooked foods.

What kind of "cheese" ... you should be specific.

3 cups of red wine vinegar???

Was your broccoli both florets and stems? Again, this should be entered raw. I presume you measured it raw rather than when it was cooked?

You should be specific as to what kind of lettuce, too.

You've got 14.8 net carbs accounted for.

I think your broccoli carbs are high ... and if you use raw eggs, you'll have a more realistic egg carb total, too.

You already know you're over the limit on the 1/2 and 1/2.

For the love of god I am getting so frustrated.

NO i didn't eat 3 cups of vinager! I had 3 tbs spoons, I had .3 of a cup of cream so I am not sure how that is over AND I had 3 pcs of celery not two! yes the eggs were raw. I picked the thing that said eggs! Broccoli was both florets and stems and measured raw. I did read the book and know that much

how about someone giving me an example as to what the (*&^ I should be eating because I a two seconds for saying F*** it~!

Is there another tracking site I can use?

As I mentioned I know the half and half has to go but I am not throwing out the whole carton so I have to finish it! Whipping cream, who the heck puts that in their coffee or eggs...heavy cream (here in Canada that is 18% cream) I have and use but I again have to finish the carton!

Fluffy, relax!!! You're doing fine with FitDay. My first reply was in response to your original post where you wrote that you had a 1/2 cup of cream and 2 celery stalks.

Lots of us put in goofy numbers like the 3 cups of vinegar and then when you look it over and start checking on why things are so high (or way too low) then you spot those errors.

You just started using FitDay. Like anything else, there is a learning curve. You're doing fine.

I know!

There's a learning curve to Fitday ... just as there is with any other counting site.

Ok ... then you can edit the entry.

The drop down menu for serving size should have Tbs.

The limit is 2-3 Tbs. You also wrote you had 1/2 a cup ... and now it's .3 of a cup ... you need to be accurate. 3/10ths is not the same as 1/2.

As I wrote, you should use the entry, "eggs, whole, raw".

Then you should make your Fitday entry raw broccoli.

You should eat from the List of Acceptable Foods for Induction. It's not that you're not eating correctly ... you're just not putting it to Fitday correctly.

You can try All Things Food and Diet - FatSecret I suspect you'll be just as frustrated there until you get past the learning curve!

When I was just starting, I used the carb counter in the back of DANDR ... and then I used the Dr. Atkins New Carbohydrate Gram counter book. Kept a paper journal for a long time ...

Doing it by hand taught me what the correct counts were ... so that I could see if there was a problem with something I did with Fitday.

Alright so if I am not eatting correctly then why I am not loosing any weight or in the next mode Kentis or whatever its called?

Also I know about the list I have 5 copies of it!!! and following it or so I thought!!

I have one copy on my fridge, one at my desk at work, one in the car, one in my purse and the one in the book I have that is in my living room. I read it daily when I plan my food each night and when i am shopping. I write down everything and have it on paper but everyone is so hard pressed about fit day!

She told me half and half is a no no cause its half milk.

So nevermind fitday..why is this not working, my question was what am I doing wrong - BESIDES ENTERING IT IN FITDAY WRONG!

Who said you weren't eating correctly?

You're not entering what you are eating in to Fitday correctly. Big different.

You lost 1.5 pounds in 5 days ... how is that "not losing".

How do you know you're not in ketosis?
