Haddix,

It's not always about what the scale says. Thinking you "got away with it" is destructive thinking.

And ... the bottom line is, a "cheat" means your body has to "start over" ... you lose about a week's worth of fat burning.

So ... do you think that hurts you any?

Also, alcohol has a diuretic effect. Many people happily report weight loss after drinking "decent amounts of alcohol" when, in fact, all they've lost is water.

There are many easy ways to lose a pound, two, or a dozen. Changing your WoE for life, on the other hand... that's more difficult.

Lesson Learned.

I had the EXACT same response to falling off the wagon this weekend. Saturday night I literally did it by accident, then said what the heck? Well guess what? An hour later I felt full, groggy, and drowsy, so my Saturday night was over REAL QUICK! IN BED BY 9PM!

MY LESSON WAS DEFINITELY LEARNED! Before it was honestly a diet, but after this weekend I realize it will be a WOL for me
