| And if you eat a great big salad you are still stretching your stomach out. Better to eat two small ones several hours apart even if you aren't on Atkins. |

| A big part of Atkins is learning portion control...eating a 'big' anything is counter-productive. A small salad with meat & fat should satisfy your hunger - you want to stop eating when you are no longer hungry, not when full or stuffed.

| Take time to read the book. I think if you are going to succeed on this, getting a firm grip on the basics of what is involved is going to a must. You owe this to yourself. Don't really on thing you "hear" It is very likely myths and untruths. |
