| Impossible to say if you eat enough fat. We would need quantities for that. Are you tracking your foods in FitDay? What are your numbers there --- calories, grams of fat, grams of protein, net carbs? Lots of pepperoni in your menu. It's a processed meat, which is not a very good option on Atkins. Pepperoni "sticks"? Did you check the ingredients? Quote:

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Sounds like you are ready. And fat rocks. I will give my opinion about your food. Just a few things to think about. I think overall you look to be on the right track. Good for you. Quantities -Measure always measure I don't know how many eggs or how much cheese so it is hard to comment without quanities. You do not say how much veggies either. We need to measure and be clear on what we are eating Pepperoni - eat clean, whole food without sugars Have you looked at the ingredients. You are probably eating so much preservatives that your body will never decay but I am not so sure this is good for the living organs. Eat some REAL CLEAN protein (fish, eggs, meat that has not had stuff added to it) Pepperoni can be good once in a while but not for every meal all day long. It probably contains sugar as well (often in the form of dextrose) Fat I don't see much fat in your menu. You can use fitday and enter your foods there. Make sure that you eat enough and that around 65% of your calories come from fat. Zero Carb Look out for things that are zero carb. They rarely are unless they are pure meat and fish. Label laws allow companies to post small serving sizes and then if the carb is around0.5 per serving size they can claim zero. But it is not zero. Cheese Limit to 3-4 oz. Water Where is your water. Drinking sweetened water is not great in my opinion. Something you should try to avoild. But you need at least 64 oz of water. Make sure you have some always Supplement Take some Exercise non-negotiable on Atkins. Start it today. Maybe join some of the Novemeber challenges starting up. Check out the exercise forum.

| I have not been tracking it Fitday - I just signed up and will start today. I am not at home to check the ingredients of my peperoni or dressing but I will definitley cut down the peperoni. I am limiting my cheese to under 4 oz / day. I am eating approx 3 cups of veg/day, mostly salad vegitables and am drinking more than 64oz of water, I drink it all day. I LOVE water. Thanks for the replies |
