| Normal? It might be normal for you. My "normal" thing was to have my upper arms ache. Is it possible you have the real flu? Did you cut down on caffeine gradually?

| No.. I quit caffeine cold turkey. I planned for it by taking 3 days off of work and school, because I knew I would have withdrawal symptoms. I've tried to "wean" myself off of sodas before and it never worked... one would turn into two, etc. I knew that just stopping would be my only real chance of getting off of them completely. I don't have a fever, no body ache, no sneezing, sniffling, or coughing.... so I don't think I'm ACTUALLY sick. Just feel odd. Some I know is the withdrawal, wasn't sure if the extreme body heat feeling was part of that. |

| It could be. Make sure you're getting all your vegetables, all your water. See what happens in the next few days.

| I drink ice water ALL day, so I'm freezing ALL the time now. You could try that. Hope you get through it quickly! |

| I recently read something about a guy who went cold turkey off of some caffenated soft drink and he had night sweats. I think it's entirely possible that your increased body heat is associated with withdrawal.

| Ugh.. I cannot stand ice water. The only way I'm schlucking it down now is by drinking it room temp. I've never been a big fan of the stuff!! Yeah, I did some reading about caffeine withdrawal and it seems that cold or hot flashes can be a symptom of withdrawal. At first my boyfriend was joking "Well, the book DOES say that it cranks up your metabolic furnace"!!! |

| I restarted induction a week ago and I too have been extremely hot. Seemed no matter what I was burning up! This never has happened in times past. Normally I get headaches and feel awful with induction flu. This time no headaches, no feeling awful, just burning up! I just figured that it happened alot with people.

| When I went through Induction, I found I was pretty warm the first week or two. Just watch it closely. Best of luck to you! |

| The fact that you are normally so cold is of concern... have you had your thyroid levels checked? |
