| Many people lose most of their weight either the first or second week of induction - that is perfectly normal. It sounds like you are doing very well - congratulations on a successful induction!

| Thanks for the quick reply!! I am a 38 year old female and would like to loose roughly 25 pounds. I started out at 146 and would like to be around 120 so how much should I expect on average per week? I suppose everyone is different. My plan is to stay on induction for 2 more weeks and then move to OWL. I know my weight doesn't seem too horrible, but trust me...... I have tried other diets and because I have hypothyroidism, which I have to take synthroid for, and nothing has ever worked before!! I can't tell you how excited I was even to loose 1 pound! I truly believe that ANA is for me! Last edited by sukie7; October 31st, 2009 at 11:00 AM. |

| You have very little to lose, I would really recommend moving to OWL right away. Many people think that they only need 9 weeks to do OWL, but that isn't true - you need a week for each food you want to add on each rung. You want to go thru OWL while you are still losing at a good rate (it slows considerably closer to goal) so that you can tell if a particular food is problematic for you. Doing it this way will increase your chances of maintaining in the long run. Best wishes for continued success,
