| Hmm... see, I want to avoid having things spread all over. I guess what I want is: *An app with USDA database in it, to which you can also add your own brand name foods, using the information on the nutrition label. *After looking them up once, you should be able to very quickly add foods that you often eat and have the nutritional components added to your daily tally. *The same should be true for meals and recipes; after registering the recipe once, it should automatically add up the nutritional value of all ingredients and be accessible after that at the touch of a button (the frequent foods list should be on a scroll week or something. *You should be able to set daily limits or weekly average limites. *Water consumption should be included and counted. *You should be able to enter a goal weight and a current weight, and track it over time in both chart and graph format. Measurements too! *It would be great if you could upload pictures of yourself from your iphone and make a weightloss slidehow... though that would require a lot of data. *A menstruation calendar would be great... *Finally, there should be a button you can press to generate an XML file and email it to the e-mail address you specify, so that you can easily convert it to excel or whatever else without having to retype all the data. Basically, there would be a screen for daily tally, a screen for setting goals and limits, a screen for history/tracking The main purpose of this for me would be to help me be mindful of what I am doing with food each day. I can be a little ADD sometimes.

| >>*An app with USDA database in it, to which you can also add your own brand name foods, using the information on the nutrition label.>> Carb Finder does that. My advice to you though is to not believe the nutritional label ... even if it's a "brand name" ... since labels are not as accurate as the USDA database ... labels "round". >>*After looking them up once, you should be able to very quickly add foods that you often eat and have the nutritional components added to your daily tally.>> I believe Carb Finder does that ... it has something called "plate". >>meals and recipes>> Don't know about "recipes" ... I would use Fitday for that. >>A menstruation calendar would be great...>> I'm sure you know there's many an app for that. >>Water consumption should be included and counted.>> That was a feature in the other Carb app I mentioned above ... and is probably in many others, too. >>Finally, there should be a button you can press to generate an XML file and email it to the e-mail address you specify, so that you can easily convert it to excel or whatever else without having to retype all the data.>> The Weight and Exercise app I mentioned above does that for it's data. I wish you well on creating or finding an app that does everything you want! I hope not having this app right now doesn't keep you from being successful with your goals! Remember ... those things are just tools!
