2 questions- mayo and whipping cream

the hospital can do blood work or a swab. in my case, the dr said they dont do swabs swabs anymore because they are not allowed. funding i think because it's confirmed that it's in the area and a couple of people that have been to the doctor's have been told that almost everyone getting the flu now has a form of h1n1. Im really tired, i just tried to do the wii fit, and what would have been just balance games made me sweat like i was doing aerobics, so i stopped. i think from the experinces im having and seeing, the media is really making this out to be more of a panic attack than it needs to be. IMO

I am also concerned for your sake. Shouldn't you be resting more? You said you were making homemade ketchup and bbq sauce and mayo, and trying to exercise, but aren't you feeling sick? I would be taking it easy, of course I am a lot older than you but still, with the flu, can't some of that stuff wait? You need to rest up so you will get healthy sooner. I am just amazed that you have the flu and you are so busy. Being a mom of 2 kids myself, (all grown up) I am concerned for you.

aww thanks... i guess it's just hard not to go go go when im so into this new way of living...but it does only take me about 3 minutes to make each sauce. I just cleaned up a little, got the kids and hubby in gear to clean and now im relaxing on the couch. I'm done for the rest of the weekend. im just going to sit here now with my lap top, and watch x-weighted and i think the biggest loser comes on in the afternoon today.

Hey Tracy, glad you're resting up now

What was the name brand of the canned cream you bought? And which store was it? We drove to a town 40 min. away so I could get some nuts at the Bulk Barn then go check out products at Sobeys. No luck with cream in any way, shape or form
I also looked for jicama (vegie) but they don't have it there either. So if you could let me know about store and canned cream brand I'd really appreciate it.

i bought carnation in a can, found it in the bakin isle, i bougt it at metro....it's available in alot of places. English people eat it as well. it's sold at zehrs as well.

i looked for jicama at metro (formerly a&p) as well, and they dont carry it.

Like, regular Carnation Evaporated Milk? My father worked for them when I was little (many, many, moons ago) so we grew up with "cream" on our morning oatmeal, lol.

no it's carnation cream, it's about 1/4 the height of the can of evaporated milk can, and costs about 50 cents more. it was called sterilized cream thick cream
