| Whipping cream in the carton doesn't have sucralose in it! Buy real whipping cream and whip it yourself!! As to mayonnaise, the amount of sugar is trace ... and as long as the sugar is not one of the first 4 ingredients ... you should be fine. You can, of course, make your own mayonnaise.

| my carton of real whipping cream has sucralose in it..and this was the one with the least amount of carbs. i just whipped it, and read the carton. i bought it in a carton, just like coffee cream.. Neilson fresh whipping cream, i whipped it myself. ingredients: milk ingredients, dextrose, carrageenan, mono and diglcerides, cellulose gum, polysorbate 80, sodium citrate. that is the only brand i've seen that says real whipping cream. |

| >>my carton of real whipping cream has sucralose in it..>> It shouldn't ... it's not "real" then ... it's something else! Whipping cream is just cream. >> ingredients: milk ingredients, dextrose, carrageenan, mono and diglcerides, cellulose gum, polysorbate 80, sodium citrate. t>> In that list of ingredients, sucralose isn't mentioned ... SUGAR is though. Dextrose is sugar. Sucralose isn't. What you bought isn't acceptable at all on Atkins. Sorry.

| sorry sucralose was a mistype, i meant dexgtrose.... i dont get it.. the carton says fresh cream, and then on the side its got this blurb talking about there being noting as good as real whipping cream on berries etc... and then it's got a seal on the front that says real whipping cream... i'll look around for another brand tomorrow, but i think i remember reading somewhere that in canada it's hard to find a brand without sugar. thanks for clarifying the mayo issue. |

| You never should have bought the whipping cream with dextrose! And since you've got H1N1 ... don't you think that staying home is in order ... rather than spreading germs around the grocery store? <smile>

| i know i shouldnt have gotten it and i was looking so forward to the sf jello and cream ...i bougt it on the day i bought the other stuff and didnt know to read the label for ingredients... but now..i am trained to read ingredients!!! i was over shopping today and let me tell you, my shopping has definately changed..i kept remembering you telling me about the sucralose, and that anyting with ose isnt good. i have my own bbq sauce in the fridge "melding" flavours overnight...before adding the rest of the ingredients to it.<<And since you've got H1N1 ... don't you think that staying home is in order ... rather than spreading germs around the grocery store>> yes mom lol. im actually quarantined to my room now. lol. my husband made me put on the mask that i had to wear at the hospital and banished me to my bedroom. i have a 2 and 5 year old..he jokingly told me to feel free to go to a hotel for the weekend lol. I will have the hubby try to find some sugar free real whipping cream tomorrow. |

Thanks for posting this list. I saw a similar list once before and did not copy and paste/keep for reference. It is so easy to not remember all of the "other" sugar names when you are grocery shopping. I will print a copy and put it in my purse. You are such a never ending source of info. Thanks for all of your great posts! ~Mary |
