| There comes a point when the appetite suppressing characteristic of ketosis/lipolysis kicks in and you can go many hours without feeling hungry. It's a good thing, because unlike other diets, you don't feel hungry all the time. It's a bad thing because you forget to eat and your body needs to maintain a certain level of calories in order to function and in order to lose weight. What you can do is put yourself on a feeding schedule. If you work at an office during the day, you can plan your "snacks" during your morning and afternoon coffee breaks. You don't have to make big plans either. For example: Breakfast: 1/6 of a crustless quiche AM Snack Cheese crisps and Pepperoni chips Lunch Chicken with 1 cup lettuce, 1/4 cup cucumber, 1/2 cup sweet red peppers, 1 ounce cheese PM snack Devilled egg or slice of roast turkey spread with 1/2 ounce cream cheese and chopped olive spread Dinner Salmon steak 1 cup green beans sauteed in olive oil 1/4 cup jicama sticks Your snacks are fat-protein combos, which help keep your blood sugar levels constant.
