| Welcome to ADBB! L-carnitine will only help if you have a carnitine deficiency. Beef is a good natural source of carnitine.

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | >> Any tips>> Stop buying the Coke. Also, you have to DECIDE you're not going to drink it. Plan on NOT drinking it at all ... instead of planning how much you will drink.

| Thanks Georgiana! I must have a L-Carnitine deficiency because once I started taking it the weight started coming off quickly. |

| Hi bwalters, There is some suggestion that the addiction isn't actually to the coke but to the "fizzy" sensation, you could try having sparkiling water with lime in it instead of Coke. Just a thought. Good Luck |

| Dear Mystic, Wow! I think you are right about that!!! In general I don't have a problem staying away from sugar. I have noticed that by drinking Diet Rite with Splenda that it suppresses by urge for Coke....making me think that it is really the fizzy feeling my mouth is craving. thanks!! |
