- Help! Last night my husband pointed out that I salt everything I eat and then I salt it again. He's completely right and I didn't even realize I was sabatoging myself. I drink half my body weight (225lbs) in water with no problem, but with so much added salt in my diet I feel bloated and haven't been losing weight or inches in about a week. I don't have a clue as to how much sodium I consume, but I know it's out of control and not healthy. I want to start closely monitering my salt intake. Can anyone give me a guideline on how much salt should be consumed? I definatly want to get this under control.
