| Hi BigJay, Four pounds? That's great!...now put that scale away!! as in right now, immediately, ASAP!...really the scales can have a Jeckle & Hyde effect. The can make you happy when the numbers go down and depressed when they don't, Dr. Atkins was right, waiting until after the first two weeks to take your measurements and weigh yourself is really the best way to go. That said, of course you're going to make it. If you keep your determination strong and follow the ridiculously easy steps of Atkins your success is garuanteed. As for feeling lighter, I often get the same feeling I think it's because in part anyway, that you know you're doing something good to help yourself - in fact you're saving yourself. All those feelings of guilt and self shame begin to vanish and disappear in the light of positive, pro active self improvement, care and love. Of course the weight loss doesn't hurt! | Oh you bad curious thing for weighing so early!! lol...but that's great news!! Did you take measurements when you started? If not, definitely measure now so you have something to compare to.
