I'd say as far as protein shakes, unless you are currently body building you don't need to supplement your protein intake, you should be getting MORE than enough from your daily menu. Just to note though..i have used protein shakes int he past but as a meal replacement when I was on the road on a long drive etc and knew i may not have a good food choice. | I'm not in induction anymore (OWL) and I bought a great low carb cookbook by Dana Carpender. She has recipes that use vanilla whey protein powder mostly for desserts and baking. These are not induction recipes, though. So avoid it until you are further along.
