Default What type of snacks can I have with the induction ?

Hi All, :wave
Only started this morning and so far so good. Just a quick question, during the day I got hungry, what can you suggest I can snack on to keep me going. Is it safe to asume anything as long as I stay under 20 carbs for the day ?
I've tried looking for a post but can't find too much on it.

Example:

Could I snack on a grilled chicken breast ( portions of course), what about eggs? what about the Atkins low carb muffin mix (3carbs p/muffin). I would like a few ideas thrown in as it would be helpful.

I have found this forum excellent and hopefully the diet and the Atkin way will help me achieve my goal

Of course you may have chicken breasts and eggs: deviled eggs, omelets, tuna, some cheese, pork rinds .... just take a look at the allowed food.

As Pau said - you can snack on anything on the acceptable foods list.

But the muffin mix probably has ingredients that are NOT on the list so avoid that till you are on the OWL rung that covers ALL its ingredients.

There are several Induction-legal recipes for buns, bread and muffins in the Recipe database (link at the top of the page) so take a look at them and make your own 'legal' snacks.

You can snack on anything on the acceptable food list, one of the fastest snacks is eggs. STAY AWAY from the atkins packaged foods while on induction. If it isnt on the list, it shouldnt cross your lips! Yes that stuff my be relativly low in carbs but it is still a frankenfood, that isnt allowed. And dont forget the water.
