i argued with my ex and have been eating all the wrong food. i have stared my induction again and i intend on being true to myself, any words of advice would be appreciated.

hang in there emotional eating is a very hard thing to overcome but when you are eating high carb you are injuring yourself not him and you don't need to give that kind of power to anybody. Try using exercise as your emotional release next time you are mad.

Post before you eat it and talk it out too with 17,000 of your new best buds.

I know that arguing with your ex brings up all kinds of emotional issues and such. You are going to have to learn to make sure for one, you don't have anything in the house that you can eat that is not on plan. That way you can stay clean of that at least. You need to learn to conciously stop yourself before you eat the food. Pause and ask yourself, why am I doing this? Sometimes that little pause of food in mid-air is enough to bring you to your senses. Try to say over and over in your head after a seriously emotional issue like this is, "I will not eat junk because of this, I will stay on my plan, I can resist this." Over and over til you can calm down enough to let it pass. It gets easier and easier to resist it if you do it consistantly and don't give up. I know; easier said than done but if you do it a few times, it will get easier and easier to resist than not doing it at all and giving in. :hug

Emotional eating is most peoples nemesis!!! Next time...buy shoes!!! Then when (God forbid) you get into with your ex again at least you can be wearing a pretty pair of Manolo's to kick him in the ***!
