| It gets easier as time goes on, trust me. Eventually, you'll even crave it and feel parched if you don't drink up. The only time I have trouble these days is if I get super busy and forget to drink at work....then I have to make up for it when I get home. The best best is to constantly sip it all day long..... :capital ~JoAnne |

| :hug It is hard in the beginning :hug There are lots of strategies people have posted abou:. Have a bottle with you and make yourself take a good pull at it every 15 minutes or so Refill your glass or bottle as soon as it is empty Try iced water - or tepid water if you can't drink it cold - to see if you find one or the other easier to swallow. Make sure you have a full bottle with you on the way to work and try to see how much you can drink before you get there (do the same on the journey home too) Have a cupful every time you pass the watercooler at work. Put a slice of cucumber or lemon in your bottle to make it taste better If you buy bottled water try a different make to see which you like best I am sure you can think of other ways if these dont work for you - or perhaps other members can give you their tips?

| It used to make me want to puke, now I feel thirsty if I do not get at least 96 oz in. I keep water by my side at all times and it has gotten a lot easier. Also try drinking your water at different temps. I like my water just slightly cooler than room temp. Some people have to have it ice cold, some like it hot. See what works best for you. |

| In the long run water will become your best friend, but its rough at first, if your not used to drinking water. Once your system gets used to it, then it will be easier to drink it. I had to make myself drink it at first, it was a chore just to get the 64 ounces in a single day. I save the 20 oz. water bottles i buy and refill them with with brought water. Now im easily got in 100 oz of water a day and in my 12th day of induction. To me trying to drink more than 20 oz. at a time is overwhelming and i begrudge it. Try drinking when you wake up and with your meals. The water in my town has a wierd taste, so i just buy it at the store.
