Hi ShrinkDieter, :wave Caffeine withdrawal isn't fun for any of us - I can definitely understand and as a two pot a day Java junkie relate as well. But staying off caffeine is a wise choice, it spikes your blood sugar causes cravings and stalls your weightloss - it's not worth it. As for the withdrawal it's a picnic compared to the agony of withdrawal from much more serious substances. A few days of feeling tiered and popping a few aspirin are a small price to pay for the incredible myriad of benefits you'll get back in return from doing Atkins as it was meant to be. Hang in there kiddo - you're doing great. Peter

peter oughta know, he gave up cigarettes. (and wild women) heh, heh, heh... seeing how serious your withdrawel symptoms are only shows you how bad those substances are for your blood, your brain and your body. it sucks - but only for a little while. hang tight - you won't regret it.

relax, give another day or two.. maybe three depending on how much caffeine you were consuming... but once your body clears itself of the junk and gets used to it - you wil have so much energy! More energy then any sugar rush with the added bonus of it not going away! Whereas a sugar rush causes you to crash after a while. So stick with it! HOoray for you giving up caffeine! :joy
