Default Fitday aggrivation

Here is my fitday for today:

http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...wner=CherTLC4u

(any uppercase initials after the item tells me brand name or store bought, so dont pay attention to that)

I just dont get it. :confused

Fat: 78
Carb: 3
Protien: 20

My BMR is 1594 ... today is 1874

Its 11:24pm and I'm hungry but I'm afraid to eat!

Any suggestions to straighten this out for tomorrow?

Also how do I add in pork rinds and Splenda? With the pork rinds I very seldom eat them right from the bag -- they are always crushed as breading so how do I measure them?

I made Revolutionary Rolls and I'm not sure how to enter those. They are made of mostly egg (1/2 egg per roll).

I'm not sure why this confuses me so much!

You gotta make the journal public, otherwise thatl link just takes us to our own fitday page, for those who have them.

Hi Cheryl,

When I can't find something, either I add it to custom foods OR like the rev rolls you were talking about, add the ingredients one by one. I know it's a pain but that's how I get by to make sure I count every single carb

Sometimes fitday doesn't have the measurement I want eg shallots only come in tablespoons, so I have to estimate or start using the measurement fitday suggests.

If you're hungry, EAT. If you're still hungry after eating, chances are that something you ate the previous day is playing havoc to your blood sugar and making you peckish. You need to find that food that's causing the craving and avoid that. Also, when hungry try and eat foods with really high fat content, like bacon, cheese, pork rinds... that way you don't put up your carb count too much and minimise your protein count.

Your proportion% looks ok though

I like to add in the revolution rolls, or any other recipe, as a custom food. It's a pain in the butt the first time, but you'll thank yourself later everytime you eat that same food. Just go to a new day with nothing on it, and enter in all the ingredients. You'll get the total counts for everything (and if you want the nutritional information, go to Reports/"Am I meeting my nutrient goals for Today?" and then write all the %'s down). Once you have all the info, you can click on Add Custom Food and enter it all in. Make sure you delete all the ingredients where you entered them when you're done.

I would say not to worry about the calories for now. I ate almost 3000 calories yesterday :yikes , and I've had quite a few days during induction that were that high as well. I know we're not supposed to weigh everyday, but my weight is generally lower on the mornings after I eat more food. The best part about this WOL is that you can eat great food and never go hungry. If you're constantly counting your calories, you're going to make it feel too much like a "diet", and we don't want that!
