I just bought a scale tonite ... one that will weigh up to 400 lbs so it doesn't groan when I get on it. I was so impressed with your "technique" that I also bought a sledgehammer to set next to the scale. I read your post to it and I'm believing that this will be enough to keep it dialing in the right direction at the proper speed. Thanks for your innovative advise.

Hi,

I'm glad to hear you smashed that evil scale! There have been times that I wanted to smash mine too! I wonder if there is a link between perimenopause and induction flu? I am perimenopausal and I had the worst induction flu, I was so tired and headachy I thought I was gonna die! Every time I am tempted to cheat, I think about that induction flu and having to go through it again and it stops me in my tracks! No treat is worth going through that pain again! But...one day, I woke up happy! Really happy! Happier than I had been in years and energy? I had so much energy I didn't know what to do with myself! Now that I have been through several months of cycles, I notice that I still get really tired and achy a few days before and a few days after TOM, even though you don't get TOM, you still have your ovaries so you still have those lovely PMS symptoms once a month. Anyway, hugs to you, and all I can say is hang in there, it will get better!
