| I started February 22, 2005, I lost 8 pounds during induction, then a steady 3-4 pounds for a 40 pound weight loss every week until 3 weeks ago. In the past three weeks, I have only lost 1 pound. I haven't changed my diet, I haven't changed my exercise routine, except I had a couple of days where I didn't exercise because I was sick with ear infection & strep throat. I believe that my body is adjusting to the 40 pound weight loss and doing other things inside that I can't see. When you lose weight inside, your organs have to shift and adjust as the fat around them go away. So that is my story, not discouraged, at least...not yet!

| Hi I can't be exactly sure how much I lost right at the beginning as I didn't have scales until midway through the second week. I began around 12th May and I think it works out about 3lb's a week. I totally blew it out on wine (which I know I shouldn't have and I sure as **** won't be doing again) a couple of weekends ago. I'm still on target to reach 126lb by December 1st. I'll still "technically" be 14lb over my "ideal" height weight ratio thing. I haven't been 126 for 15 years. I'll be happy with 140 which I was for years. But I'm going for the 126 as a long-held dream! |

| HI! I started May 2, 05 and have lost a total of 24lbs so far. Some weeks I only lose 1 lb. when TOM is coming usually I stall but when I'm over it I usually drop 3 lbs. so I would say approx. 5 lbs a month right now- slow but steady. I can't complain.

| I've been on Atkins since January 31st and have lost 53 pounds. It's been approximately 10 pounds a month (more in the beginning than now.) BUT I exercised more in the beginning. This month has been pretty hectic and I haven't been exercising as often as I should. PLUS, I have been stalled for the past 2.5 weeks only losing and regaining the same 2 pounds. I'm positive that if I was better at exercising, then I would have lost a lot more than I lost. I started out at 230 and as of today, the scale reads 177. (Oh yeah, I just turned 30 and am female.) |
