| Don't freak out yet! Weight loss is not linear. More than likely your body is just adjusting to your new weight loss. Also, you don't mention water...how much are you drinking? Drink TONS of water. I typically drink over a gallon per day. As you stated, you know you're having some no-nos...so you may want to start nixing those things to get back to eating more whole and natural foods. Try going back to clean induction foods for a few days...that always worked for me! Congrats on your weight loss and keep it up!!

| Do you know how many calories you are consuming? Even though we don't have to count calories, they always play a huge role in weight loss. I've been known to eat upwards of 3000 calories in a single day. All those low-carb, high fat foods will add up quickly! Have you considered moving to OWL? A ton of folks have found their weight loss picks up after moving on. Personally, I found that I dropped my calories tremendously. Instead of snacking on bacon & cheese, I was able to have more veggies, so my calories went down to like 1800, my carbs were still under 20, and I was more satisfied. |

| I'm willing to bet it's salt. I know the day before I'll see a gain like that if I know I'm eating something with a lot of salt. Just pound the water and give it a day to come back down.

| Maybe try cutting out the frankenfoods (ice cream, davinci syrups?) See if that helps. Also maybe up your exercise and water. Congrats on your loss thus far! |

| The most important thing - dont lose focus and fall off the wagon due to this minor minor setback. Try cutting out the cheese for 5 days esp. if you have been eating the 3-4 oz per day. Just as our bodies start to experience a weight loss after a cummlative number of days on reduced calories or change of foods. Similary there is something I beleive to be the cummlative effect of food. Its like this: you could be eating the same number of calories and foods for he last say 2 weeks. The body is getting used to this and it starts to become more efficient because it knows the supply of foood is constant - therefore it is not stressed. So it becomes more efficient. More efficieny = requiring less calories to do the same work. But if your eating the same , you now have a slight surplus. Thereofre it could take anywhere from a week or two to see that cummulative effect. The trick is to change it up in a way you can manage it without falling off. Sometimes reducing your calorie intake or lessening cheese or whatever other food for 3 days will make all the difference. Personally, when I get like that , I will pick a day when I will fast for a 1/2 day, (i.e stop eating at noon - lunch being your last meal fo the day). Just flush myself out with 2-3 litres of water. I wake up feeling better the next morning and can regain my normal routine. Note; this works for me - I dont advocate anyoen to do this. I am aware of the effects of shock on a body and starving is bad etc etc, the body will store your next meal as fat and so on and so forth. I am just sharing a personal opinion, tahts all. |

| looks like you have gotten tthe shock treatment about overdoing your carbs with the foods not on the list. Now you need to decide do I want to be the smaller healthier me more then I want the pleasure I get when I eat those foods not on my list? When you know the answer to that you will be able to succesfully continue your Atkins. If you are bored with the foods in induction move to OWL for more food choices as you climb the ladder. Happy low carbing

| 2 Big is right - sounds like you may be having too much combination stuff. Try to eat clean for a week i.e. grilled fish with olive oil, eggs, roast chicken with salad, broccoli, spinach etc. Eating clean will get you results. The more foods you eat that go beyond one step of preparation , the less clean it is. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck. |

| Knock off the icecream bars and other non-induction legal foods!!! Right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Having said that, the scale lies. It's all about how much water you are retaining, regardless of TOM. I only count the low figure, never the higher, as long as I'm eating right.
