| Oh yes! celery is a diuretic! How much cream cheese are you putting on your celery? I love celery and cream cheese, but I only eat enough cream cheese to cover one celery stick. I had a stomach virus with really bad diareaha, someone on the board suggested I eat celery with cream cheese and it stopped the diareaha, isn't that weird?

| Maybe I should START eating celery. I don't like how it gets all stringy in your mouth when you bite it. |

| Thanks guys! I buy the tubs of cream cheese with veggies in it, and I dip my celery into it. I am the only one who eats it, so I don't worry about others germs Amy |

| just bumping this up b\c i have questions about it. i dont eat celery, but seeing that it helps bring on a whoosh & faster loss, i just might start. do you cut them into snack size sticks or the whole stick? when you say you eat 4 a day? just curious. thanks for the help.

| I cant say I have noticed a woosh effect but I often cut up a few celery sticks and mix with some mayonnaise for a snack - yummy!! If I feel I need to take some psyllium husks for 'regularity' I add them to the bowl and really dont notice them - never could take them in a glass of water!!

I like to snack on cubed celery and cheese...it's a good mix of crunchy and soft and the chunks of celery are more manageable than if they're left in sticks. |

| I remember I used to love celery and PB when I was a kid, but now I can't barely stand the taste of celery...ooh and just the thought of the celery strings gives me goose bumps...kinda like scraping nails on a chalkboard or licking a wooden popsicle stick... *cringe* |

| My mom always peeled the strings off before we ate them. A knife on the outer edge and pull down. Or chopped up the strings shouldnt bother you. Cut it thru the back first and you will cut all the strings Cucumbers will have the same effect on some people
