| girl that is NOT that bad..seriously...the amount of breadcrumbs IN a meatloaf is most likely NOT enough to get you out of ketosis, and also the ketchup, at most it will probably stall you, but you are NOT a failure, you are normal like the rest of us, and we all fall down now and then, and your fall wasn't all that bad, so pick yourself up, dust your shoulders off, and KEEP TRYING! you are doing GREAT!

| Dr Atkins said in DANDR that if we fall off the Atkins wagon we just get right back on it and not to blame ourselves and get into the vicious mindgames that a binge of any size can lead to. Okay, you splurged. You know what not to do now so pick yourself right back up and get on with it. Oh - and don't keep telling yourself off over and over again. It's over. Deborah |

What I want to know is what happened in the Gap? What made you decide to do it? I think if you reflect and find the key that unlocked the binge door, it will help you keep it locked forever! Get back on the horse....You can do this....heck if I can anyone can

| It sounds like you didn't plan for your day at all....and as the saying goes, 'failure to plan is planning to fail'. You ate a tiny breakfast, and only had celery with you....that's not enough to sustain anyone let alone keep their blood sugars stable so that's why you were compelled to eat the nuts, jello and the dinner that you ate. Take some time the night before to think about where your day will be taking you and plan your foods accordingly. Some tuna or salmon salad with that celery would have been really good, as well as a few boiled eggs, or deli meats and cheese, a stop at a grocery store on your way to your destination could have fixed you right up....a little planning can go a long way! |

| Just pick up and go on. Make today a cheat free day, and don't beat yourself up over yeserday. Like Moochie said.. a little planning goes a long way.. Next time maybe plan a little more legal food to eat, and it could prevent the binge.. I have been on this WOE for almost 2 years, and some days are stil a struggle to keep from eating something I know I shouldn't. |

| As has already been said - probably the reason you succumbed was because you didnt have induction-legal food available. So until you get to the stage when you automatically refuse the carby foods try to always have more legal snacks with you then you think you could possibly need. Better to throw away the odd uneaten ham rollup or boiled egg than to 'have' to eat off the plan and risk a carbfest!!

| That's the hardest thing about eating something that's not induction friendly; once you start it's so hard to stop. When that happens to me, I get in the mindset that "oh well I've already ruined my diet for the day," that's when i keep eating the other things. I don't think it's worth beating yourself up about though...everyone learns from their mistakes
