Question Induction Friendly Breakfast???

Hello! I was just wondering what everyone eats for breakfast! I am so tired of eggs... scrambled eggs, fried eggs, eggs with cheese, and other veggies... Just curious as to what everyone else eats! Thanks!

I have bacon occasionally. Or as Megs said, I often have left overs also.

One of my favouite breakfasts is a basic couple of slices of bacon and some mushrooms.

Try a Mock Danish - WONDERFUL! Lifesaver!

This recipe is from the board here: (I add 1 heaping teaspoon of Flax to mine - it gets my Flax in AND makes it have more texture. Also be sure and save a teeny bit of the cream cheese for frosting)

Mock Danish
one serving

2 oz cream cheese (2)
1 large egg, beaten(0.6)
1 packet Splenda(1)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract(0.3)

Put cream cheese in a small, microwave-safe dish. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until softened. Remove from microwave. Stir in the egg, Splenda and vanilla extract into the cream cheese. Put back into microwave and cook on high for 2 minutes.

Total carbs: 3.9 grams
Fiber: 0 grams
Net carbs: 3.9 grams
Cheese allowance: 2
Sweetener allowance: 1

*Note: Cream cheeses vary in carb count. So be sure to check your packages. Also note that some people add a tablespoon of fiber supplement to their Mock Danish to give it a more "bready" (sturdy) texture. If you do this, you MUST include the the fiber supplement carbs.

Good luck! There are ALL kinds of alternatives. This WOE is FANTASTIC!

I love the flax cakes myself

1 Tbls butter
3 Tbls ground flax
1 egg
Pinch of splenda
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbls pumpkin pie spice or cinamon

Melt the butter in the microwave, then stir in the rest of the ingredients. Make sure you mix well! Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Pop out and eat. Absolutely fabulous.

Hello there,

I like to have tuna salad or egg salad on a lettuce leaf with some mayo, tomato and onion.

If I'm not very hungry, I'll eat a few slices of pickle with a piece of cheese.

I make something called ham hash. It is a combination of ham (or turkey), mushrooms, onions and peppers. Sometimes I add diced tomatoes. And somedays, I just drop a poached egg on it. The good thing is that I saute enough for a few days and have it available anytime.
