| Checked my stix and they are still purple, so whatever was causing the cravings did not kick me out of ketosis. Cravings not as severe now...could be the change in salad dressing. |

| I agree with valid rouge, my first bottle of 7 up "free" had no sugar, no caffiene and no preservatives but it did have splenda- and this just got me craving sweets. |

| i use sweet n low. luckily coffee and diet soda des not have any behavior altering impact on my system. |

| Still craving "sweets"...I have random thoughts of wanting things like sugar or glazed donuts, churros, very sweeeeeet coffee (the coffee vender I used to go to would say...so, havin' dessert again this morning"). I would get coffee with chocolate, carmel, vanilla and almond syrup to make a "snickers" latte or some variation... For some reason, all of these thoughts are coming back. I have even been tempted to make a cake the past few days and take it to work to share with my coworkers. I am not going to eat it, but I just want to smell it....NOw, everytime I am passing a fast food place, I am almost obsessed with thoughts like...oh, a shake sure sounds good (Baskin Robins), Apple pies would be nice (McDonalds), chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting..ummmm (carls Jr.)...You get my point.... Sorry if I've made anyone hungry or tempted...just telling the truth...I've cut out sweeteners, no soda and I am still craving..........still going strong though, so thats all that counts right...(validation need here guys!!) |

| I think its a case of your brain telling you that you can *never* have those sugary naughtiness again; but just think, when you reach goal and move on to maintenance those things you cant have now for a period can be had in moderation. Good luck and stay strong; its tough some days |

| You're right CarbaholicJoe...I guess my mind is in a panic about all the things it thinks it's missing....I even began keeping a tally of things that I crave and have been writing them down to see if they increase of decrease over time. So far today, I've only craved one thing (a PB&J sandwich) whereas on 9/11 I craved 8 things and on 9/12 it was 3 things. So far so good...... |
