"Crackers" made from Deli Deluxe cheese.

Take one slice and cut it in to 16 tiny pieces. Place spread apart on a sheet of parchment paper and microwave for 30 second increments until you get a brown, crispy cracker. Even a small package of Deli Deluxe slices will yield a lot of crackers! Just be sure to count them into your cheese allowance.

For 0 carbs, I'll have a few slices of pepperoni. Sometimes I add a small piece of cheese on top. This is good either cold or heated in oven or microwave. It fills me up.

^^I've yet to find a 0 carb pepperoni. I've looked at every store in my area and I CANNOT find pepperoni without sugar, or dextrose, or corn syrup, etc. It's very frustrating since It would be an excellent snack. What brand do you get?

For a snack, I usually eat a piece of string cheese. Also, when I am boiling eggs or making bacon, I won't just make one serving but 3 or 4--that way I can keep it in the fridge and it's already made. I just put each serving in a little sandwich bag and can grab it on my way to work, etc.

Default Re: cheap snacks?

I know this sounds a bit gross but I like to take a zip lock bag and put a little bit of heavy cream add some pork rinds and shake them up a bit. In another zip lock bag I have splenda and cinnamon. I add the damp pork rinds and shake them up good so they get a good coating of the splenda and cinnamon and then I put them in the oven for a little while.

For imagination sake, they are a warm cinnamon roll

Another favorite that I eat for lunch once in awhile is to take a stick of string cheese, cut it in half and then cut each half lengthwise so you get 4 long pieces of string cheese. I roll these up in a slice of deli ham and put them in the microwave just long enough for the cheese to get a bit warm and ooozzzyy. When I have them for lunch I'll also have half a green pepper cut in strips with a bit of ranch dressing on the side for dipping.

I find it hard to snack on pepperoni. Those are one of those snacks I dont know when to quit! All the sodium was not helping me any. Im just not buying it anymore.

LOVE the "cheese crackers" Idea. Im gonna try that in just a bit!
