Default Anyone else experience this..

In the mornings I wake up and I'm extremely hungery. But when I first eat something I get terrible nausea and and to fight to keep it down. It goes away after about 15 minutes.

I'm not pregnant (incase that was your first thought).

Advice would be great.

Hmmm... Sorry I have no clue I have the exact opposite. I wake up and dont feel hungry till around 1 pm and have to make myself eat something small anyway to keep from breaking the 6 waking hour rule. I dont get hungry till the evenings or late afternoon.

Never had the prob with the nausea though. Hope you feel better and it goes away.

Hi KittyMomma,

Yep, I have heard of that before. Sometimes a side effect that goes along with ketosis. Try eating smaller amounts more frequently. Also, what are you eating. Try different things and smaller amounts and see if it clears up. Did it just start recently?

I had that in the very beginning but now I'm the opposite. I found, for myself, it was because I was too hungry and hadn't eaten enough the day before.

Now I'm hardly ever hungry at all so I eat little amounts all through the day and save my big meal for last so that I'm not hungry in the evenings or when I wake up in the morning. For me, it took care of the nausea.

Yes, I am experiencing this. I am just over four months on induction, and started experiencing this a little over a month ago. Mine lasts a couple hours, but it's not every day. It seems to be worse the earlier I wake up. With the nausea/vomiting, I am also experiencing dizziness, and minor visual disturbances. It was so bad this past week that I also took a test. Not prego! I don't really know why this is happening, but I'm thinking of officially moving to OWL to change things up a bit. Maybe my body is telling me it wants more nutrients!!

IMHO........and again this is IMHO. Move on to OWL! AND, maybe see your doctor.
This is not the norm. Nausea, yes but vomiting and the other things you are experiencing are not normal. I really think a visit to your Doctor is in order!
