| Hiya Sue, I'm in a similar position...similar weight, height as well! Just starting my fifth week on Atkins and doing extended induction. I think I would like to move onto OWL before I get restless (if ya know what I mean!) Then again I know I'm not ready yet...why fix something that's not broken?! I'm not bored or restless yet. 20lbs sounds a good bench mark....think I will aim for that. Hope you had a fab Easter! Cathy XoXoX |

I've been reading up on the forum for OWL and it's great!! I know it will help me move from induction smoothly. As you I thought the same about moving out of induction but as I read and get informed (much more info than Dr Atkins book) I'm feeling confident that weight loss with continue and I will reach my goal and stay there. I now see the importance of OWL. I will see what my weight will be on Thursday morning as that is my official weight in and go from there. Keep me posted on how you are doing. Hugs

| By all means, don't be afraid of OWL. Ongoing.....Weight.......Loss...... Just that! I lost the majority of my weight on OWL. One suggestion, don't fly through the rungs, you may be tempted to do that, it's what I did, and things just kind of spiral'd out of control....too many choices and easy to stick the bad ones..... However, I've been on rung 1 (restarted induction in February) for 4 weeks, and just moved to rung 2. (Tried sooooo many new veggies, Jicama...yummy thanks Joy) so remember, not a race!!! Definately consider moving onto OWL! |

| I would recommend staying on Induction until you are close to your goal. I have around 40 more pounds to lose until my goal. As long as the weight is coming off, what's the rush to get to OWL? Just worry about OWL when you are getting close to your goal. Did you read the Atkins diet book? It lists answers to these questions and more. |

| I'm an OWL fan... if I were you, I'd move, though it's a very personal decision. Remember you still get to lose weight and the extra choices of foods are very welcome. The majority of weight loss should be in OWL. It takes time to move up the rungs and to find you CCLL so you need to move in good time, before you get too near your goal weight. Let us know what you decide...

| Thanks Sally!! I agree...after everything I've read I will be moving on to OWL when I've reached my 20 pds. This is my way of life now and I want to do it right. I've read so much about people not doing it probably and then failing...not ME!! Hugs
