| Hi Shari and welcome. Do you have the book? Have you started OWL? What rung are you on? If you are on the berry rung of OWL you did not cheat. I do suggest you refer to the book and read the section on OWL. That way you will have a clear understanding of this phase. Best of luck to you. |

| Well, you did cheat. (At 22 days, you cannot be on the berry rung, fowler girl!) In the scheme of things, 1/2 cup of raspberries is way better than a piece of fudge. But it is still cheating. So now what? Well, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get right back to the correct foods! Now, why are you trying to get more than 20 carbs? 20 carbs is the MAXIMUM amount you should eat during induction, not the required amount. And in rung 1 of owl, you are just adding an additional 5 grams of carbs from veggies. If you have been eating an average of 12 carbs a day, then on rung one you'd be upping it to 17, etc. You'll be fine. |
