| Hi Sid ![]() As you are past the 14-day period I am moving your question into the extended induction forum to make it more relevant. Have you read the thread called 'Weightloss is not linear' ? 3rd week no weight loss From it you will see that you are probably not doing anything 'wrong' but experiencing what many of us do in our weightloss journey. However as you have lost 5 pounds already out of a total hoped-for loss of 25 pounds, it means you are doing well and have already lost 20% of your total ![]() So in my opinion you might be better off moving to OWL now and starting your climb of the carbohydrate ladder rather than continuing on induction for longer.

| Hiya I experienced the same thing at the stage you are at. Your body is probably taking stock of all the new things going on. I moved on into OWL and the weight started moving again. You will find that the weight doesnt not come off consistently each week. I sometimes go for a few weeks where nothing comes off -- then a few more pounds , then another pause etc. This seems to be the pattern for many people. Even the scales fluctuating up and down from day to day is normal . I recommend you measure yourself so you can see that often when the scales are not moving the inches are dropping off your body. One thing that Atkins teaches us is patience. It takes time for weight to come off permanently. I suggest you hang in there and follow the program . Excercise and drink your water and enjoy your food and things should start mobing again for you soon! GOOD LUCK!

| My first thoughts are that you should make sure your dressings and sauces have no excess amounts of sugar. And secondly - are you getting enough vegetables? Veggies are very important in this way of eating. The lettuce & peppers are good, but maybe you should move up to the first rung of OWL - add more vegetables (to a daily limit of 25g of carbs I believe). Also, have you been exercising? Exercise really, really helps, so maybe you should increase your amount of activity. Other than that, you seem to be doing well. Just be patient!

| I'm with the others... patience, veggies and consider a move to OWL. Lots of people lose better on OWL, particularly the first rung, which is just more veggies. Hang in there and keep us posted.

| The only thing else I can suggest besides more veggies is to make sure you are dirinking plenty of water. I saw tea on your menu but you really need to make sure you get AT LEAST 8 glasses of water. Many of us here drink 100oz or more a day. Good luck!

| Besides the food and the water, how is the exercise coming along?
