Default Re: splenda

It has not made me stall. I actually just started using it about two weeks ago and have lost more than I thought I would at this point. I'm happy. Plus, I'm addicted to cream cheese with splenda (tastes just like cheesecake). It's my little bit of heaven at the end of the day!

I don't have probs with splenda, but I know some people do. You could also try saccharin or stevia... they are both Atkins friendly.

Maybe post what you have been eatting and some of the people that have done Atkins for a while can see whats stalling you.

I find that if I eat too much cheese or those enduldge Atkins bars, I stall all the time. I also found that if I log every bite I can usually find where the extra carbs are comming in. I use fitday to log everything.

Hang in there we can get through this.

Good Morning Muffy! i had been going thru a nasty stall for weeeeeeeeks... and 2 weeks ago i stopped using Heavy Cream and slowly but surely, the weight started falling off again... remember now, im not as young as you are... (im 47 ) but i did LOVE Cream in my Coffee and used it in a few recipes too, but i know now that i cannot have it... it mades me sad, but IF this is something that you use... you might want to cut it out for a week and see what happens...
the splenda doesnt hurt ME at all... thank goodness...

I stalled for two weeks. Problem? Flax oil. I have hypothyroidism and a thread on here led me to believe it was the flax oil. I stopped using it and started losing weight like almost immediately.

Default Re: splenda

Does anyone on here have problems with Splenda making their heartbeat irregular? I don't feel well when I have too much aspertame either. I need to try xylitol or erythritol to see how that does.
