| I think everyone fears leaving the safety of induction. It really simple - clear rules, defined lists of foods - and it works!! But I agree with Emma totally - move on. You have no signs of having a high metabolic resistance, have not got too much to lose, and moving on to the first rung will not slow you down at all - it's just extra veg, good stuff and not going to ruin your progress. No matter what you do you weight loss will slow the nearer you get to goal, that's just as true on induction as any other phase. In fact a slowing weight loss is part of the plan, and is desireable, believe it or not!! It allows you to ease gradually into the rest of your life and learn and establish good habits. It's really really important to leave the safety of induction behind and learn about what and how you can eat. That's what OWL does, and progressing slowly through the rungs means more and more choice is introduced. Yes, that makes it harder, but unless you learn to deal with choice you have little or no hope of long term success. So moving on is making it more likely you will succeed long-term.
