| why are you going on to extended? OWL is only more veggies! It boosted my weightloss, i lost more on OWL... You are only supposed to do extended if you are at that point on the table in DANDR.

| Dr Atkins 2002 edition states that one may stay on induction as long as they are comfortable but at some point will stall. I would go totally by the book. If you feel comfortable moving up go for it. If you feel the need to stay on extended go for it. I am going by what Dr. Atkins says and using things here as reference. I was only on extended for 3 days lol. I just felt it was time to move on. Like Emma said 1st rung of OWL is only another 5 net grams of carbs. you can stay on your OWL rung as long as you like but after so long your body will get used to only having 20g |

| One last question...LOL...Ok so I got the flu last week and just the last 3 days was able to eat normal again...during the days of flu I was only able to eat saltines so for 5 days I was eating saltines and drinking insane amounts of water. Would that posibly set me back if I moved on to OWL? |
