| just keep your menu fresh and tryout one new recipe a week and you will find lots of things to have instead of their goodies. if it ,akes you fell better get one servoing of their goodies and go smash it up crush it stomp it whatever makes you feel good. it is a very release mechanism for me. I don't know if my post about the cream puffs that followed me home is still around or not.

| Dont worry I am married to a guy who can eat anything and everything without even gaining a pound!! He is really supportive of my diet which is sweet, but today when we were talking about dinner he just caved and said I WANT RICE!! So I amgoing to be cooking rice and dying to eat it... I come from a culture (Pakistani) where eating rice and bread is the STAPLE of our diet...and so are heavy curries and spicy spicy food!! I am on day two and dying but I am determined not to cave!!!! So I understand your pain!! But chin up we are doing this for ourselves... S. |

| It can be hard. We're a family of six, my husband, mother-in-law, two teenage daughters and one four year old daughter (I also watch a 3 yr old daily) and all of them love their sweets. On my 3rd day of induction, I had to bake my husband cookies.....now that was hard. It's weird now though, I'm not even craving sweets....I didn't even want them on Valentines Day when everyone in our house had chocolates. |

Mock Fried Rice 3 1/2 cups of grated raw cauliflower (1 head usually for me) 3 green onions 1 clove of garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp ginger 3 tbsp soy sauce 3 beaten eggs Olive oil Cooked chicken, shrimp, beef, pork, whatever. Grate fresh cauliflower, using the largest holes of a cheese grater. You can also use a food processor fitted with the grating blade. In a wok or large flat skillet, heat enough oil to cover the bottom. Fry minced garlic (or garlic powder) with finely diced white part of onions for approx. 1 minute. Add grated cauliflower and fry 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add soy, ginger, diced green onion tops, and pre-cooked cubed meat or baby shrimp. Stir to mix well and brown a bit. Push mixture to one side of pan. Add more oil if necessary and scramble eggs in empty side of pan until done but still moist (I've never done this well, I just use a smaller side pan). Stir eggs into "rice" mix and remove from heat.
