| I don't think that the hotdog alone was a bad choice. Good for you for taking off the corn bread batter. Are there hamburgers at the fair? If so, having the meat alone would be fine. Or what about cooking up some burgers of your own at home and packing them into your purse or bag in a sturdy container, along with some veggies to much along as well? Being prepared is the best way to avoid the pitfalls on outings like that. :nod Good luck!

| Do you have a small cooler you can carry or keep in your car? You could have LOTS of options then - ham & cheese rolls, hamburger, chicken salad, boiled eggs....then when its time to take a break to eat..just head to the car, bring the cooler back and have a HEALTHY lunch/snack! I did this while we were in DISNEY..the junk food capital of the world...and it felt weird the first day but after I ate my good food, had NO GUILT and knew I was doing a good/GREAT thing for myself I felt WONDERFUL! Its worth it! :hug

| freeze some juice boxes for your kid, or a 3/4 full water bottle, and put it in your bag with your food. It'll keep it cold and give you liquids too. Something like a deli meat rollup with cheese, pickles and cut veggies will do fine packed with this. :yes |

| Good on you for taking the batter off. Hard when you get caught unprepared. Weigh to go! Sal
