You will need to check the individual label of each product to make sure it is OK for induction and also keep to their suggested (teeny) serving sizes.

I just looked at the ingredients of the CO 1000 Island Dressing I buy for DH (on maintenance) and noticed it had 'modified potato starch' so as I am not up to the other veggies rung yet I couldnt have it (I like mayo anyway) But 1 serving (0.6 g of carbs) is only 1 tablespoon of the dressing.

I also bought their Tikka Masala sauce.
It has yogurt (dairy rung) coconut flour and dessicated coconut (nuts/seeds rung) so again not for induction but once I reach the nuts/seeds rung (next week for me).
But it says 4.9 carbs a serving which is 1/4 of a quite small jar, so I might leave it till I am on maintenance so as not to 'fritter' my carbs away too quickly!!

If I had had my specs with me when I went shopping I wouldn't have bought it yet :nono

I have been using the Carb Options Ketchup and it hasn't effected me at all. I have found that it is the best low carb ketchup that I like.

I have used the low carb ceaser dressing & the ketchup.

Ketchup is fine - but found you can buy better brands with the same amount of carbs but cheaper (like cardinals)

Will not buy the other stuff until iam on OWL. noticed last week that Tesco now sell fresh Low carb Cheescake and muffins - but i did resist ..... :angelanim

I would not buy the bars etc - as they tend to give me a bad stomach and then make me crave sweets etc.
:no

Noticed you live in Bromsgrove - do you go shopping at Asda as i find it realy good to get my shopping as it so cheap and you can bulk buy things like chicken, pork chops etc.

Its nice to know that someone else in this area is also an Atkins ha

Hey Claire :wave

I see you're in Worcester :yes, well i'm just 20 mins up the road from you, lol, i'm in Bromsgrove :yes and yes it's nice to see someone so local too :hug

Yes, I only shop in ASDA, they have a really good choice of foods and at reasonable prices too.

How are you finding Atkins and the food?

What is your daily menu like?

I have also been having the Hellmans Tom Ketch which I agree, is nice and also the Ceasar dressing which is really yummy.

Thanks guys for all your replies, very much appreciated.

Hi Lou :wave :wave

Been mega busy at moment - so sorry for delay in reply. Been trying to book a holiday for the 17th march - just got that now booked - off to Lanzarote for 1 week - cannot wait... Want to loose another 4 lbs before i go - so been very strict at moment.

Iam only weighing myself every month now - as was getting a little mad on it. Lost 15lbs on last weigh over 3 weeks ago - but i think next one will be realy good as my work trousers now hang off me - BF said i need to buy some new ones as they look like 2 sizes to big.....

My normal Menu for a day would be :-

breakfast - 2 egss/ bacon or salalmi + some 1 cheese slice (not processed)
Lunch Tuna or salmon salad
Tea Chops or some meat and salad and my favs is doing my stilton mushroom sauce with the meat - very yummy....

I have to do my breakfast & lunch the night before as i work in Redditch so have to get into work early - so any other ideas for this would be great..

:dancing :dancing

Have you tried the gluten free sausages in Asda - they are low in carbs - i think only about 2 carbs each so thats good for sausages.....

have not worked out yet how to post a picture yet - so iam not been shy - just been very blonde ....!!! BF said he will have a go for me

Anyway let me know what you are up to

Take care :ThumbsUp

Hi Elizellen :wave

The stilton Mushroom sauce is all induction friendly, you need to make sure you save all your cheese allowance for it and save alot of your veg allowance for the mushrooms as they cook down so small (its my special weekly treat.

Cook 1/2 a small onion with a small tub of mushrooms (i usual slice these)and once cooked poor away the liquid from the mushrooms.

Turn down the heat and then add the slilton cheese and let the cheese melt, then add some cream, simmer away until thick then pour over your meat - works best with pork chops. I usual just have a small green salad with this as well

YUMMY xxx :icondance
