Default Need an induction friendly chocolate fix? Try this treat

I've noticed a few chocolate craving posts here recently, and thought I'd share one of my favourite treats. This is totally induction friendly and tastes like chocolate truffles.

Melt 3-4 oz cream cheese in the microwave (chop up first and nuke for around 15-20 seconds).

Stir in 1tsp splenda and 1-2 tsp coco powder.

Yummy! This is such a rich desert that my cravings are often satisfied after eating only about 1/3 of the recipe, but you could eat it all if you wanted, because you could have 3-4 oz cream cheese while on induction.

If you want it to be portable, try wrapping it in some plastic wrap and refrigerating it.

You could also add some shredded unsweetened coconut or even some flax meal to add fibre.

Default chocolate fix

thanks for sharing this choc fix, i am going to try it i have been really having a hard time without choc. I started atkins on 1-18 and i have lost 20 pounds so far. i was wondering if you might be able to clarify the calculating of the net carbs, i cant understand it. i have been using total carbs counting instead. Thanks

yep those are called chocolate blobs and you can freeze them for later use. Just remember that 3-4 ounces is your entire days cheese alotment so please don't eat the whole bowl as a chocolate snack. protion control is needed with choclate fixes too.

Don't forget to count the carbs in that mixture too and to count the splenda in your splenda limits too. Would hate to see a HELP post and come to findout it was too many carbs, too much cheese and too many sweetners cause somebody ate this great Atkins induction legal chocolate fix daily.

Yeah, you would definitely count the carbs and cheese allotment. I count EVERYTHING and that is one of the things that I love about this recipe - you can still have a great treat and stick closely to your Atkins stage requirements. I usually only have this as my cheese for the day, avoiding all other cheeses, if I know I want to enjoy it.
