| It really doesn't matter whether you weigh yourself on your home scale or your gym scale ... just don't weigh yourself on both of them and expect identical results. They are seldom in synchronization. As far as the food ... you do need to eat. Try smaller meals or more like snacks throughout the day. Yes, you need the calories. And you also need to stabilize your intake throughout the day to avoid spikes in blood sugar to achieve optimal, healthy weight loss.

| Are you sure it may not be a virus? Or possibly food boredom? I know when I have done extended induction my appetite drops completely, once I get past the 10th or 12th day. Then it seems like certain foods make me ill, especially if I've eaten a lot of it because it was induction friendly. Like Saturday I decided I was going to eat tuna because I didn't want to go to the grocery store before next payday and I had several cans left in the pantry. I've eaten tuna quite a bit over the past few days. I took one bite and I felt queasy. Then, determined to eat this tuna, on the second bite I swallowed and then two minutes later threw it up. I've had the same thing happen when I try to force down the necessary amount of water when I already feel full or not hungry. It could be psychological. However, I only have this reaction to foods on extended induction and only with certain foods...fish, eggs, water. So, I've been eating broths with veggies. It seems to go down better when I don't have much of an appetite. |
