Default Whew !

Whew ! I really didnt know what happend, but i had this pesky 3-4 pound gain from july 4th.. stayed on plan but too much salt and not enough water that day.. lunch meat and diet coke most of the day... anyway, finally today i am back down... down 11 as of this morning (total)

never will i lunch meat again ! oh and the water thing.. yes i need to have the water !

i have a general question for the ladies... TOM - when its 1-2 days before i am a salt fiend.. my salt of choice these days is on pork rinds and sucking on salted roasted peanuts.. yes i know ... but still , is there anyone else who has to fight the salt craving at that time ?

thanx for all of your help and inspiration.. i am in this for the long haul and i know you all will inspire me to keep going and thats a huge help

Sounds like you found what doesn't work for you with lunch meat. Good for you sticking to the plan!

Oh, the dreaded salt cravings. I could have a salt lick in the back yard (well, I could use the neighbor's) and still not have enough. The only thing that I think worked best for me is to limit the portions of pork rinds (small handful to last all day long. Yes, it is possible) and be VERY aware of the amount of salt that I was taking in. And upping my exercise during that time with drinking my water. There's no magic wand to wish the cravings away---if there is, somebody hand one over!---so riding it out and finding out what works for you (besides eating the salt and other things with salt) is best, too.

thanx Lisa, i had quite a laugh picturing a salt lick in my backyard, where do you buy those ? just joking - thanx, this month i am going to try and "power thru" the cravings... and lots of water ! thanx again -
