| I know you're not supposed to eat any nuts in induction, but I've been eating peanut butter and still losing weight. In small quantities it's not too bad for you |

| I make sure to eat little bits of Laura Scudder's natural peanut butter, as its only ingredients are peanuts and salt, and it has the oil on top. I like taking 4 packets of splenda and mixing it in. It keeps the oil (fat! YUM!! hehe) in the peanut butter and adds just a little kick. But they're right, shouldn't have it until you climb up the rungs. I always falter when I start eating peanut butter. Thats hard stuff to moderate!!! LoL |

| Almond butter is very good when you get to the nut rung (so is cashew butter but you have to really watch as cashew have HUGE carb levels amongst the nuts). tahini is sesame butter and it's good too. at least those come long before the legume rung!

| Atkins does list peanuts with nuts and seeds in DANDR - of I think that would make is OK to eat peanuts in that rung. Many people wait till legumes though. I can eat peanuts but I don't very often. Too easy to get carried away with them. When I eat nuts it is usually almonds.
