| um, why don't you make some in a crockpot - like, with chicken and broth and veggies, and freeze it for future if you don't use it all? since you said this happens like, twice a year, it shouldn't be a problem of keeping it around and not using it, right?

| Thank you for the great idea. I hadn't thought about that! I don't usually cook (just can usually warm up stuff out of a can) and I will have to learn about a crockpot and then buy one... but I think I can probably boil the chicken, broth and veggies later should I feel up to it. To be honest... this is nearly my second month into Atkins (40 lbs. lost) and I was feeling so great I thought my pneumonia days were over, but that's okay because I feel incredibly better than I have in many years and this bout can only make me appreciate what I have now even more. I'm hoping the longer I am on Atkins the better I will feel and maybe, just maybe, next year I won't have to worry about pneumonia any more. That would be awesome! Thanks again and GOD Bless! |

| A Crockpot's really easy, you just throw everything in there, uncooked, turn it on, and a few hours later it's perfect. It's also great for cooking sausages and corned beef.
