Default Has anyone found Splenda to cause no weight loss?

I am just wondering if anyone has had to delete Splenda from their atkins way of eating and found that it helped them loose more weight?

I am losing approx .5 to 1 pound the past few weeks and am wondering if I should try cutting out the Splenda?

We've had a handful of members here who dropped Splenda (and all other artificial sweeteners) from their diet and their weight loss picked up. We also have had a couple of members who tested their blood after a "splenda load" and found their blood sugars increased.

So if you think that Splenda is causing a problem with you, drop it from your menu for a couple of weeks and see what happens with your weight loss.

I had stalled, and the only thing I was doing differently was using splenda... I cut the splenda and the weight started dropping...

here's what I've found: anything that tastes sweet to me, I just eat too much of it. I think I stall myself because I just eat a ton of it... past the point where I'm full. If I eat the other things allowed on induction, I eat until I'm full and stop. Maybe that's why you stall?

Now this is a great topic of discussion :yes

I think I might drop this myself as i have two tsp in my black coffee and have approximately 2-3 cups of coffee per day.

Keep me posted as to whether it does work for you or not.

I will keep you posted if it works for me or not.

Last week I consumed way too many splenda sweetened drinks, and not only did my tinkle tests not turn purple, but I felt bloated and uncomfortable.

I'm back on the water wagon again and drink only 1 splenda sweetened drink per day, and the sticks are purple - Glory B!

Also, are you having alot of dairy products? That slowed my weight loss down tremendously.
