Default stalled and sleepy

How long must your weight be stable before you are considered stalled? My weight loss first slowed down considerable and now has completely stopped. I'm tired and can't seem to keep my eyes open lately. I just feel like crap and am just thinking of throwing in the towel.

Hi Tissha
sorry to hear that. I think a stall is 4 weeks of now weight AND inches lost. If you are losing inches you are not stalling.

Can you tell us what you are eating and drinking? That may help us see some trouble issues. Are you exercising? Have you been measuring as well as scale hopping?

Are you taking vitamins? Are you eating enough veggie carbs? You should be feeling great so it worries me that you arent. Maybe you should check in with your doc? Sorry to hear you feel bad but I hope you hang in there... I am sure the board and your doc can figure out whats going on

Here was my menu for yesterday

Breakfast:
2 eggs
2 slices of bacon
a sprinkle of cheese

Lunch:
a slice of crustless bacon cheeseburger quiche

Dinner:
Cheesey chicken cassarole
(chicken breast fried in olive oil and garlic
brussel sprouts
covered with half a jar of alfredo sause)

I drink at least 5 20 oz bottle of water (3 of which are crystal light)

I have not been measuring. Only weighing but I don't feel a difference in my clothes. I have not been taking vitamins. Could that make a difference in my energy level?

yea definitly, that is if ur still on induction which i assume u r, i didnt take vitamins my first week and i felt like crap. near the end of the week my stomach kept hurting and i think it was becouse it wasnt gettin its vitamins, at least thats my dad said a while back when he tried dieting. he didnt use atkins though. and now ive been takin vitamins for bout 3 days and i feel great, even though ive only taken one a day, that is if one a day is to little. but either way it makes a great change. i suggest vitamins as it says in the book.

It does not look like you are eating your veggies either. Try to get some healthy veggies in at every meal.
You may be overdoing the cheese for induction. You are only allowed a few ounces. And I am not sure about the alfredo sauce - did it contain milk, flower, corn starch sugar?
If you are not losing I would cut out the crystal light - could be a staller.

Hope that helps. I though checking with the doctor was good advice.
