I just asked that same question in another post because I am worried about the apartame in the jello. But sure is a yummy treat when everyone else is having a dessert.
I will probably have jello for my daughter's b-day on Sunday. And pork rinds to replace chips maybe. That sounds like a weird combo. Think I'll just stick with the jello!

Whipped cream is allowed as long as you stick to the limits in the induction list - measure the cream before whipping, as it expands! Ready whipped cream might contain ingredients not allowed so as with all processed foods, read the list of ingredients as well as the number of carbs.

BTW check serving sizes to make sure you count 'a bit less than one carb' per serving, which might be something like a teaspoon of the stuff!

Manufacturers are allowed to claim 'zero' carbs if the product has less than 0.5 carbs per serving and 'less than one' if it has betwen 0.5 and 0.99999 carbs per serving. This means that if the 'less than one' carb is for one teaspoon and you eat 2 tablespoons of it you might be eating 6 x 0.9999 carbs!

Who could eat just a teaspoon? That is so mean of them!

I bought a whipped cream dispenser that I fill with heavy whipping cream mixed with splenda. Then I used the seperate nitrogen canisters to pressurize the cream, whipping it. I have found it is much easier to make, since whipping cream takes a whole like of time and dishes, plus I'm more likely to just have a spoonful rather than a bowl. I added vanilla or almond extract for a little zip, not sure if it was allowed but it was just a smidge.

I paid about $35 for a 0.25L dispenser, and $8 for 10 nitrogen canisters at a cooking store in an outlet center near me. The 0.5L was $45.

I am looking forward to taking this with me to Thanksgiving at my parent's. It will be an instant hit!

8/18/08-199 I think. I was scared that I might see a 2 as the first number, so I didn't weigh myself.

Whipping cream is easy -- use a metal bowl and beaters, and put bowl, beaters and heavy cream in the freezer about half an hour before whipping. It'll whip up in about three minutes.
I use the liquid sucralose (0 carbs!) and flavorings: vanilla, cherry, chocolate (mmm!), mint.
Even eating half a cup of cream a day (pre-whip measure), I've lost twelve pounds in less than a month, with no starving and no exercise.
I'm addicted to this stuff.
