Question feeling dizzy, off

Today i woke up this morning feeling really off. I was dizzy and felt like i was being pulled to the left when i stood up. I have a weird shaky feeling in my stomach and have continued to feel dizzy and off all day. I have been following the diet exactly and taking my vitamins.

What could be causing this?

Has anyone else had a day like this?

The big a-ha is you're most likely have too low of carb intake (or you've had hidden sugar carbs...I'm betting the too low of carbs). Review what you've been eating and making sure you're eating full fat foods, veggies, and your protein. If you're still having issues with vertigo feeling, you might consider moving up the OWL rungs to rung 1...it's just more veggies and you're body might be telling you it's time to give it more fuel. Don't be afraid of OWL rungs. You can stay as long as you need on each rung

I think you were right. I added extra veges yesterday and by last night i was feeling normal again. I think i might start owl rung 1 this week.

Thanks for replying.

Yea! Good for you trying things out. That's what this woe is all about...you have to try or you won't know.

In another week, look back over the week to see how you felt over all, what you were eating that worked, and decide if going another week on rung 1 is best or going on to rung 2. It's all about trying things on for size

I get that feeling a lot when I stand up. I am on a lot of medications, it is almost certainly one of them. Are you taking any medications? If so, check what the sides affects are.

I have had that feeling in the past... I had another atkineer suggest I was needing some carbs and to drink some orangejuice... which I hate... but I had about 1/4 cup and it did the trick... not only was I dizzy I was also experiencing major eye pain.

Orange juice is definitely not atkins friendly... but I wanted to share my solution anyways.
