| What you are experiencing is very normal (and it will happen many times on your journey). We don't lose all days or all weeks. Sometimes our body stops and pauses. But we just continue with the plan because it works. It is especially common to see a small stall in week two or three and then your body will get going again. Don't cut down your carbs (then you are not doing Atkins any more - we eat veggies on Atkins) just keep doing what worked and you will be fine. Promise.

| Thanks, thats refreshing. I think I am just at the worry point because I have never lost more than 10 lbs on any diet...and this is the point where part of me just doesn't believe it will happen! like maybe I am that medical breakthrough person who can't lose more than 10 lbs hahaha. But hopefully I will be proved wrong soon enough!

| I did the same thing, lost 10lbs the first 2 weeks then nothing the next 2 weeks, then finally lost 2lbs the 5th week. I'm in it for the long haul and try not to get too discouraged when I stall.

| When I saw this caption, I thought "OOH!! ME!!! ME!!! MEEEEEE!!!! LoL.. in all seriousness, it is sooooo common. The only thing that got me through it <yeah I'm a little heavy duty on the easily discouraged side> was that I didn't gain, and of course, had to remember TOM was rearing its head.. blech. |

| just be patient! It is a normal part of the process and you body is adjusting to all the changes you have thrown at it! There is a name for it. It is called Post induction stall syndrome. uuuhhhh....... you can figure out the what it is called for short. lol lol

| I haven't lost actual *weight* according to the scale for close to two weeks now. However... the inches are melting off rather nicely. That's why measuring is so important - the scale isn't the only measure of how the program is affecting your body. Yes, it's frustrating - but I can't deny I've lost several inches on my waist during the same time period. I may weigh the same - but I look thinner! |
